I feel badly for the 2 postal victims who died.
To be a postal employee and just do your job, and be killed for it, is tragic.
Unlike the WTC, where some can make a stretch and call this financing hub a tool of the infidels....mail is mail....communicating is communciating, the messenger should NEVER be killed.

i agree with you, alex.
i know this doesn't deserve to be posted (simply because i know you may have thought of this)...but to be a bit romantic here:
even hundreds of years ago, messengers were NEVER considered people to be killed. in times of cold war, tension or actual war, killing a runner or messenger was considered drastic and foul.
to kill a messenger was far worse than killing a soldier or innocent.
it was grounds for death. even the side who killed the messenger would seek out the one responsible for doing the deed and they would kill him.
things seemed so much more civilized then...
or were they?

In about a year...I would like to see our own government erect a statue of those postal carriers who died because of anthrax, with an inscription that reads...."Don't Kill the Messenger".
